working out some winter images…
documenting my learning curve in the massive program that is photoshop with this post. sure I’ve posted the top image before, but i wanted to show what went in to getting that final image. first this images is a 7 image panorama stitch shot in portrait. then it is cropped a little bit to get a nice frame. then i thought that the island that you see in the first image is taking up to much of the viewers attention, so using the clone tool i grabbed some of the fog from the right side of the image, and moved it to cover the island area. it also looks as if the horizon is not straight but in fact it is but the island is showing different. goodbye island :) hello photoshop…..
picked up a new lens this week. i already had the 50mm f1.8 af but it did not auto focus on my nikon d3000 body. so i part exchanged it for the af-s version that will auto focus. it also came with a nifty little carry bag and lens hood. very happy indeed.
loving this technique at the moment. Wish i knew what it was called. anyone?
